Built to handle the toughest lines and hardest landings, the DT Swiss EXC 1500 Carbon Rear Wheel is engineered for riders who push deep into enduro territory. Whether you're charging steep descents or smashing through rough sections, this rear wheel delivers the strength, traction and rapid engagement you need to stay in control.

Wheel comes packaged with both Shimano Microspline and SRAM XD freehubs

At its core is the premium DT Swiss 240 rear hub, equipped with the fast-engaging 90T DEG ratchet system for near-instant pickup when you get back on the power. It also features DT’s clever tool-free adjustable anti-pedal kickback system, letting you fine-tune float to 0°, 10° or 20° to suit your bike setup and riding style.

Durability is key at the rear, and DT Swiss deliver with a 32-hole build using classic flange hub design and Swiss-made J-bend Competition spokes. This setup maximises strength and impact resistance while maintaining enough compliance to keep grip in rough, unpredictable terrain.

The asymmetrical carbon rim uses DT’s advanced PURE carbon construction, with a continuous layer lay-up that reinforces high-load areas while shaving weight where it’s not needed. The result is a tough, precise and reliable rear wheel built for aggressive riding and long-term durability.

Each rim is checked after production using DT's layer-by-layer scanning system to check for voids or defects prior to assembly. The rims use front and rear-specific lay-ups to allow further tuning to ride quality and impact resistance
